Now that I am using layers in my patterns, I have also started to make my patterns have the "no trim" edges. You will love it! But it is different than what we've done before, so I want to make sure that you know how to do it.

To start, here is the new way to print in layers (per size, instead of all sizes).
**This instruction is also in the tutorial***

Step 1.
Open the file in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat.

Step 2.
Click the “Layers” icon.

Step 3.
Click any arrows to see what is in the drop down menu.

Step 4.
Select the Base layer that you want to print.
Also select the size.

Step 5.
Click Print. Select “Custom scale 100%” and “portrait”.

I put together a short video of how to easily put together a 'no trim' pattern.

The directions are simple.

1) Print the pattern pieces

2) Set them in their proper place

3) Line up the circles (which naturally creates a 1/2 inch overlap)

4) Tape together!

Watch this video to see how it's done. Happy Sewing!
