Mindy S.
It was a bit of a learning process, but I think it turned out well. Will use it lots!
Renee W.
Quick and easy sew. I did struggle with the overlapping at the neckline, which ended up a little stretched out, but it looks great otherwise.
LaKeshia S.
It looks great and fit my 4 month old. Will use the pattern to make him a bunch of clothes!
Toni B.
I absolutely love the pattern and by now feel like I can sew it in my sleep. So easy and awesome!!
I also love the sleeping gown Jack!

sharon m.
I have made heaps of these long sleeve, short sleeve and singlet, It is great. I was worried about the snaps, but have uase a Kam snap and it is perfect, awesome pattern
Sheila H.
Very happy with how easy the neckline lapping was. I needed a long sleeved and was very happy to find this one.
Jan Y.
Lovely body suit. Easy to follow instructions. Made up well. I changed the construction of the neck binding to a t-shirt neck using the Adalynn Dress neckline tutorial which give a bulkier neck band but no raw edge. Will make again using construction technique as suggested for flatter neck line. My grandson looks great in his.
Kirstine K.
Super easy pattern to follow. Good result.

Of all the baby patterns I own (and that’s a LOT!), this classic pattern is the one I use the most! Moms love getting onesies for baby gifts & this pattern makes it fast & easy to make unique clothing that no other baby has. It’s my most requested sew for my grandkids!
Lauren H.
Being self-taught, I was nervous about working with stretch fabrics. I appreciated the notes aboit using a zig zag stitch and thjnk I got it down by my second one (for my twins) to match their big sister.
Bernadette s.
I was using old onesies and kept losing pieces this is helpful I can print what I need
Maja F.
I didnt like the snap placket
Ruth K.
So easy to make and love the fact there is one for cloth nappies
Alyssa B.
Love this pattern! Such a fast easy sew!
V S.
i make custom fit dog clothes, and many love the onsies they find but none are made for dogs. i decided to get this pattern, turn the arms for the dogs comfort, leave out the middle snap for the tail and BAMMM...one dog onsie!!
Melissa V.
I really loved that this pattern had the option for cloth diaper babies! It was exactly what I was looking for and the sleeve options are a really wonderful bonus!
Alyssa & Lisa L.
Pattern was super easy to follow Was the first onsie I had made.
Gina G.
Love the pattern. Fun and easy to sew!
Erica W.
I love this pattern, and that it’s super customizable, but also that i can make onesies to suit my cloth diapers too. Great pattern, easy to follow (i hadn’t sewn in decades and found this easy to follow), i’ve already made 4 onesies in two weeks ☺️
Anecia F.
It was a great pattern. Very easy and straight forward instructions. I was able to make multiple sizes for my little peanut, all in less than a week.
bianca f.
Great pattern fast and quick! I added flutter sleeves for an adorable touch!
F R.
very well-done, easy to sew!
Tracy B.
You guys make me feel like I can sew anything! I hacked the pattern and made sleep sacks for a pair of twins coming this fall. I’m not brilliant....I got the directions for the hack on your blog!! Love love love you guys!
Melanie C.
My 15 year old daughter was able to follow the directions and sew this pattern together. The one in the picture is from the day my son was born, and she sewed it. It was softer and lasted longer than others because we chose the longer, cloth diaper friendly version. This will be our go-to pattern for onesies.
Lauren A.
I used the short sleeve onesie pattern in 12 months for my baby girl. shes pretty tall and has a huge head so I love the overlapped shoulder for getting her in and out. For this one, I used the cloth diaper pattern for extra length (seam allowance) and made her an all in one onesie/playdress with a simple skirt in the middle!
Kylie M.
Love love LOVE this pattern! I’ve been non stop using it.
Barbara R.
I have been sewing on and off for over 50 years and this pattern had the best instructions I have ever seen! This is the first onesie I have ever made and by following the instructions it turned out perfectly. The instructions were so clear that I never had to try to figure out what they were trying to explain. I am so happy and pleased and cannot wait to make another one of the patterns.
Diana C.
I absolutely love this pattern and the step by step instructions are great. Make sure to follow and align, measure as indicated. I didn’t follow through on a few steps (my carelessness) but even so it turned out great. This pattern is a must!
Julia R.
I may have done it wrong, since I am a beginner, but I didn't have enough fabric for the full binding around the legs. I just recut a larger piece for those sections. I made it for a friend's baby and she loves it:) Thanks!
Michelle C.
fun to sew, will make more of them!!
Robyn P.
Great pattern, easy sew
Mariana B.

Chantel C.
Im a begiReally happy with the results, easy to follow instructions.
isabelle B.
Love the pattern. It’s easy to follow the directions and the onesie fits very well, but it’s a really slim fit, so if you like to dress your baby in roomier clothes, I’d suggest going up a size. Thanks for the great pattern and I will certainly buy more!
Lorelei D.
Easy assembly pattern, easy to follow instructions. Wish there were notches on the shoulders instead of having to pull out a measuring tape. But overall great pattern. Thanks
Lisa N.
I used the onesie pattern to make the very first project using my new serger. It was fun to do because the instructions were very clear! I'm excited to crank out many more onesies before my twins arrive.
Bobbi W.
I love the cloth diaper option! Perfect fit!
Kimberely N.
I like the two options for regular and cloth length. They worked perfect for making these cute birthday outfits
Nurul salita Y.
Perfect.. Snap style is good
Kim W.
Love this onesie! Great fit, great construction, love the strength of the snap placket. Will be making lots of these!
Geneviève O.
The fit of this onesie is just perfect! I love it! I will certainly make many more for my baby boy.
Karolien B.
This is the pattern I have been looking for for so long. It's easy to sew and it has the perfect fit.
I love that the designer included both disposable and cloth diaper options. My little one loves it as much as I do.
Mari W.
I LOVE this pattern! I love that it allows mamas to choose to make a clothing for a cloth diapered butt vs a disposable diapered butt. I love how easy it is to sew, how easy the tutorial is, and how much support I get from the MCDI community on facebook. This pattern is great, because I can make my son onesies that finally fit his giant cloth diapered butt, without compromising on fit. And, it's so easy to upcycle some of his daddy's clothes for this too! Absolute love!
Nurul salita Y.
Love the way snap style..good quality i can tell you.
And cloth diaper friendly is the best option for this onesie pattern.
Laura H.
I have finally found the best onesie pattern - EVER! In fact, it is VERY unlikely that I'll ever use the others that I own again. This pattern has wonderful instructions, goes together perfectly, has options for fitting over cloth diapers better, has an easy snap placket, and helps you create a beautiful finished onesie! Also, the MCDI group is so great, with great support. You can't go wrong with this pattern!
Courtney F.
I made three different versions of this. I love the versatility of it. Short sleeves, long sleeves, cloth diaper friendly, this pattern has it all! The instructions are clear and thorough. Highly recommend this for a wardrobe builder for babies.
Becky M.
great pattern. Love it. Just what I was looking for. Made 2 for my twin granddaughters. Thank you.
Jamara E.
I made this this morning. I haven't sewn a lot of stretch fabric and just loved how this turned out. I'm going to make another one now.
Brittney W.
I love this onsie! Between the lovely pattern and the material I had a tough time giving it away at a baby shower. The instructions were easy to follow and I really appreciate the reinforced snaps, it looks great and I don't have to worry about my finished item breaking on the unsuspecting diaper changer!
Jill R.
I wanted to embroider onesies, but they are very fiddly to hoop and keep the excess material out of the way. Voila! Problem solved - make my own onesie that I embroider prior to cutting out and assembling! I think it turned out nicely considering my very rusty sewing skills.
Clear pattern, easy to follow instructions. I do believe I'll be making more!
Holland P.
I was nervous in tackling a onesie, but this pattern is clear and easy to follow. I love how customizable it is, and adding a scrap of a woven print underneath the snaps makes for a fun little "reveal." I've already made 2 in different sizes!
Susan T.
Wonderful pattern. Very easy to follow.
paula d.
They came out great instructions were clear.
Susan K.
I love this pattern! So far I have made 5 of these and plan on making many more for gifts.
Linn S.
Overall, I think this pattern is nice. The zig zag finish wasn't my taste, so I did that differently. The instructions was easy to follow but I don't understand how to cut out the short sleeves. It doesn't make sense with how it's drawn at the "bottom", if you compare it to the long sleeves. Maybe it's me who is missing something? :) I'm a neewbie at sewing clothes, so I also learned a bit when sewing this body :)
Linda A.
Instructions were very easy to follow!
Aleana C.
I made this for my daughter's first bithday in May, it will be paired with a tutu and matching bow. I added a scoopneck to the back and want to add a little stretch lace to the top part behind the neck to keep it from falling down at the shoulders :)
William Y.
I have some sewing experience (high school home economics) and I was able to put this together in about 4 to 5 hours over a two day span. Easy to follow instructions and the pictures help out where the instructions fall short. I'm a visual person so I always checked the picture first.
Go slow and always measure twice before a cut or starting your machine.
Samantha B.
This is a great little pattern! The instructions were clear and it came together quickly! I love how it turned out and I'm excited to make some more!
Andrea T.
I love that this patterns sizing you can depend on. The grading is spot on and drafted correctly! Sometimes you never know what your going to get with a PDF pattern, but have no fear with any fit issue here! I love that there is a comfy or a slim fit. You simply cannot ask for more from this well designed pattern.
Jenn W.
This was my very first experience sewing a piece of clothing or with knits (only have done curtains and basic hemming). The pattern was easy to follow and it was a lot of fun to make! Excited to make some more for my little one on the way!!
Stephen B.
It sewed up quickly, and it was so easy. The directions were clear, and easy to follow. Great project!
