My daughter loves her pregnancy pillow! I knew she would love it made with Cuddle fabric and purple is her favorite color. My local quilt store didn't have enough of either shade of purple so it is two different shades, which she also loves. She is due in June so I'll probably be making another cover for when it gets hot and I'm making a separate nursing pillow since my brain just could not figure out the directions for making the pillow end removable. Thanks for a great pattern.

I made the full pillow and case for my pregnant daughter (update when she gets to use it) and just the main pillow for me. I’ve had two back surgeries and have not slept so well until this pillow! The “tail” is kind of long and goes into my husband’s side, so we might need a bigger bed!
I stuffed it very firm, as I bought a 25# box of fiber fill from Joann. The nursing pillow will get a separate case when the baby gets here, and I may just make another one so she won’t have to reassemble it at night (I got half that 25# box left!). I know what people are getting for showers from now on!

It takes a little time to put pattern pieces together but once you get passed that it smooth sailing to make this project for my daughter.

I can finally sleep! I just have to take some stuffing on the head part so it isn't too stiff, I always do that mistake! But seriously, I am so happy I can get some sleep! Thanks!

This project was my second sewing project so I am fairly new to the craft. I struggled a bit with the directions (mainly lack of patience) but was able to come out with a pillow that looked almost exactly like the image. I had a few missed stitches here and there, and I wish I would have stuffed it a bit more, but I am pretty satisfied with the result. Wish I could have shared a picture but this was a gift for my pregnant sister who needed it asap.

Great pattern. Thanks!

I love my pillow! I have ever had a pregnancy pillow but wasn't about to spend $60 on one, so this was a lifesaver! I already had all of the fabric, so I only needed stuffing! It went together easily and rather quickly! I'm so glad I purchased this pattern!

My daughter in law was having trouble sleeping and asked me to do her a cushion, I asked the internet and they came up with your pattern. As it was a PDF it took me longer to put the pieces together than it did to sew it. But she is soo happy with it and finally sleeping well again. She has shown some friends that are also pregnant and they are now after one. The pattern is easy and the instructions are very good and clear. Would recommend it to others. Thank you x

I love this pillow! The design is fantastic, it's incredibly comfortable, and my cat has even claimed it as his own lol. I have slept like a baby every night, which is a huge success as a pregnant mama! I'm sure I will be using this after baby comes, especially with the removable nursing pillow. Love it love it!

I made this pillow for a friend. She was about 20 weeks pregnant and had complained about she cannot sleep well at night. After giving her the pillow, she told me that she sleeps very well every night, the pillow hugs her whole body and is very comfortable. :)

I made this for my daughter who is expecting her first baby in August. She loves the pillow and uses it every night. The only part that was less than ideal is the flap on the cover for the removable head pillow. She said the flap is in the way when she turns over and flips the pillow. I would recommend using a zipper on the top seam instead of a flap to avoid the flap.
The pattern was really easy to assemble and the instructions were very well written.

I made this for my daughter after reading about the poor quality fabric on pregnancy pillows sold in stores. It was a great pattern and easy to follow the directions.
My daughter loves it!

Got frustrated with the fit of the pillow case, but since I had used sheets, redid the two "cut-off" ends again and added approximately 2 more inches. This way I could overlap & Velcro the edges when putting onto pillow. Since it is for my daughter-in-law, I will wait final decision until after she receives it Christmas :)

Great design! Very functional! :)

Having never used a pattern printed from the computer, I found it very easy to make. My daughter has used it and is very happy. She has been able to get a good night rest. Thank you

I made this pillow for my daughter in law, and she loves it. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the design process and the clarity of the instructions. My son likes that there's still room for him n the bed and my daughter in law loves the support. Thank you for the generosity of giving this excellent pattern as a free download.

I have been asked to make another for a my best friend, who has fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis, and has trouble getting comfortable in bed.
It has been a true blessing.

I made this pillow for my very pregnant daughter in law and made it as a complete pillow with the optional belly support as a separate removable pillow. (I did not make the separate nursing pillow as she has one already.) It took me a few hours to piece the pattern together but now I have it to use more than once if I wish! I used the polyester fibrefill stuffing of one pillow I had already plus I bought two jumbo pillows each $4.97 at walmart and deconstructed them. For the casing I used two soft flannel twin sheets I had already. My daughter in law just loves this pillow as it helps immensely with her comfort level at this late stage of pregnancy (last two months) I wish I had found the pattern sooner!

So grateful for the free pattern and great tips such as using a sheet for the fabric since I had that already! I made one big pillow and a separate nursing pillow. Took some adjusting to get the right amount of stuffing for me, but it turned out well and is so comfortable!

First of all, my apologies for my poor level of English. (Below the text in Spanish)
In my case I realized the entire project, the pregnancy pillow, nursing pillow and case to have everything.
I have been missing a total of over six meters of cotton cloth (with a width of 140 cm) for the whole project
I realized the project with cotton fabric 100% organic biological hypoallergenic because my skin is very sensitive and hurts just as easily as that of a baby. In addition, this product is of higher quality, it is easier to clean and less hot.
I live in an area of very hot in summer, so as to cushion stuffing balls used antiallergic porexpan (used in filling medical pillows, cushions stress, puffs ...), thereby the cushion was succeeded much cooler, adaptable to shapes and fluffy.
Porexpan fabric and I bought them to local distributors in Spain, but can be easily found on the internet,
Very insistently I recommend using 100% cotton fabric soft touch (if possible biological and hypoallergenic), since the result in comfort and touch is downright amazing.
The porexpan I bought from a local dealer, but you can get on Amazon and does not take much quantity (I bought a bag of 25 liters and have left me a lot)
The project has turned out very economical,
15 € Infill porexpan
20 € Cotton Fabric
Counting the spool (not spent whole) and Velcro closures, the total has not been more than 40 €.
A pillow like this on Amazon Spain can not be purchased for less than 180 € price.
I am very happy with the result and the price.
The only problem I encountered was when I printed the pdf, because although I print at 100% of its size unchanged, the printer always includes an automatic margin, so I had to adjust the print size calculating about.
In other downloads online I noticed that the pattern is drawn within a rectangle of white border, so precious millimeters pattern never lost, although it is true that thus wasted paper.
It's the only thing I can say something, but do not consider it as a problem or a bad thing.
Thank you for allowing free use of this pattern.
I uploaded photos to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook mentioning this user and web.
Congratulations on your children and for this web.

He subido fotos a Instagram, Twitter y Facebook mencionando este usuario y web.
Felicidades por tus hijos y por esta web.

My sister-in-law is pregnant with her first child and will need a pillow pretty soon, so I found this pattern online. It's versatile and easy to make and so comfortable! I'll be making one for myself as soon as we're ready to have a baby. The pattern was easy to follow, easy to alter, and easy to customize (I added a zipper to the side of each pillow in case we needed to add or remove Poly-fil for comfort). Fantastic sewing project! I also posted about it on my blog and credited MammaCanDoIt.com for the pattern, by the way. I'm at HappyHonu.net. :)

The tutorial part of the pattern was excellent and walked me through every step of the process, I was quite impressed.
I used two bedsheets I purchased at a thrift store to make this pillow at a very low cost.
I found that the stuffing/filling at Wal-Mart here in Canada was actually more expensive than at the local fabric store, so Canadians, do shop around!
It was a bit challenging to find a large enough space to do all the marking and cutting, and needless to say at this size, any .pdf pattern is a bit cumbersome.
Making it up was easier than cutting it out, haha!
I found the seams in the hollow of the nursing pillow part did not hold up, though. If I was to make it again, I'd give it a much stronger (double?) seam and probably also serge it there instead of doing the single seam and notches as described.
That said, I enjoy this pillow every single night since I've made it, and it's been a lifesaver during the third trimester.
My older daughter calls it mama's nest.
Thank you so much for making this pillow pattern available for free! It's such a huge help for pregnant moms, and I'm sure I'll continue to use it post pregnancy as well.

It turned out great. It was a lot more work than I had expected. At first it was a little confusing but then once I got going it became easier.
