Very easy project! The only thing I didn't understand had a quick and helpful youtube video!
My daughter needed some dresses that fit her but weren't women's style and this worked perfectly!

My elderly mother who is in a nursing home needed nighties with stretch and plenty of room so I chose your pattern, used the 3/4 sleeves and cut the hemline at the ruffle line so she won’t trip over. They are cosy, stretchy and easy for her carer to dress her. I love your patterns.

I love these patterns they are so easy to use. I have seen several of the Adalyns and love them.

Have made several Of the Adalyn dresses for my granddaughters. I love them and so do they. Thanks for the great pattern!

I love this pattern! It's exactly what I was hoping for-a master pattern I can either make as is (super simple & fast) or complicate
as I choose.
Newbies and experienced sewers alike will enjoy this pattern.

I love this dress!!!! So comfy and a quick easy sew. It has different fit options and it also walks you through fabric stretch and how to choose the right fabric for the right fit. I've made myself and my girls several of these!

Loved to sew it so easy and quick love that i have mommy and me option

Absolutely love the dress, it is SO comfy and the sleeves are just the right length (which is a big deal for me, got long arms and never happens first time round making a pattern). I am a beginner and it was so easy to put together and well explained, I also learned a new technique for a neck binding.

I have worn the dress a few times since making it last week. It is quick and easy to sew and the instructions are easy to follow.
I like the look and fit of it, I would probably be reluctant to go into a larger size. The sleeves look a little tight on this version of the dress on ME, but I can fix that next time around. Or, I could use a fabric with more stretch in it. However, these are me issues not the pattern.
My preference is to wear the dress with a belt. I love the pockets.
This is a quick and easy dress to make. The pattern also comes with the option of adding a ruffle to the hemline and long sleeves. It's summer here at the moment, hence the reason that I've gone with the short sleeve version at the moment and I haven't added ruffles, because I'm not a ruffles sort of a girl!
I added some detail around the hems by using a red thread to finish the dress on my coverstitch machine.
I've worn the dress a few times now. It's very comfortable.

This is a super simple dress that is SO versitle. I made it for my daughter who is 5 months pregnant, and clothes across her belly are just uncomfortable. She has a very large bust, and the perfect fit guide really helped get a great fit with the desired look! It's something she'll wear through her pregnancy, and after. She's asked me to hack it to make it nursing friendly, because she loves how it looks on her.

This pattern is simply amazing. I was one of the lucky testers of this pattern and I cannot say enough good things about it. Many sleeve options, ruffles, pockets, and so many hacks can be done. I am new to sewing knits and Elizabeth has a gift for explaining how to make things beautiful the first time. Along with links to many video tutorials within the pattern. My daughter loves the mommy and me dresses that I have been making and our closets are getting full of one of the most comfortable and flattering dresses, or tunics that I can make.

A great deal of care and detail has gone into making sure this pattern works for your body shape. The easy-read fit guide and simple calculator means that no matter what stretch you're working with, the dress will come out exactly how you want it to.

Long for me but easily shortened! Loved this pattern. Came together so well and it is already in heavy rotation. I get compliments every time I wear it. Also pockets. Need I say more?! Pockets.

To quote Steve Erkel “Whoa, Momma”!! You need this dress. Not only was it a perfect fit and easy sew, but it is so versatile in its wear. With a cardigan, with boots, flats, duster, you name! I highly recommend this dress to everyone. I’d write more, but I’m off to sew another! ❤️

The Adalynn dress pattern is easy to follow and results in a wonderfully comfortable dress. It is a great pattern for those new to sewing. I am looking forward to making more! Thank you for a great pattern!

This dress is a perfect fit and a breeze to whip up! This was my first time using a neck binding and it gives it such a nice, professional finish. Absolutely love this pattern, I will be making it again and again! Also very comfortable to wear with the A-line shape. It’s love! :)

Y'all! This is by far, the best-easiest to sew-most beautiful-perfect for anytime dress that you will EVER own. I loved sewing this dress. I love that I can add pockets. I love that there are SO. MANY. OPTIONS!! Even with the sleeve alone: long, 3/4, short, cold shoulder, no sleeve! You seriously won't regret getting this dress. There is also a chart for a perfect fit so there is no way to be disappointed with the fit. :) I don't think I could love this pattern/dress anymore than I do. --not to mention there is a baby, kids and plus sized version-- I mean, come on! Don't wait ladies!

This dress is the clothing equivalent of a ponytail. Easy to to throw on and go, but looks effortless and put together at the same time! Maybe more of a sleek ponytail. :)
Extra comfortable, but without feeling sloppy.
And the options make it incredibly versatile, and easy to get multiple looks out of one pattern.
Also, POCKETS.

This dress is the perfect swing dress! Three different ways to make it, loose, semi-fitted, fitted. Love how easy it is to put together. It's a very quick sew! Love it!

I really enjoyed testing this design. I usually do not like the more flowy styles on me, but I absolutely adore the dresses and tunic that I made. I found the best fabric choices to be double brushed poly, ITY, jersey knit, and rayon spandex blends. The length was perfect for me as well. I can't wait to try adding pockets next. A couple family members have already put in requests for their Easter dresses!

This dress is amazing! The perfect fit worksheet is so helpful to get the desired fit with the fabric you choose. It is a quick sew and the tutorial is packed full of pictures and tips to guide you. This dress is a must have for every closet!

Very easy to sew love that it could be a mommy and me
Toni M.
Beautiful easy to sew dress with great instructions. Love the different fit options and how to find the right size for your fit.
Rebecca K.
This dress is perfect. The perfect fit tutorial helps you make this fit he way you want it to based on your fabric. Many options like sleeve lengths, pockets and ruffle make it perfect for all seasons and occasions. Even better it’s a quick and easy sew.

Mine Adalynn was very long because I’m 5’2”. An easy fix! I was lucky to test this pattern, my first for MCDI. I was happy to find a well drafted pattern with all the details I like, such as layers, seam allowance, hem allowance, charts, and more printed on the pattern pieces. My first Adalynn fit perfect and I’m cutting another right now!
Rebecca B.
The Adalynn Dress is one of those patterns you know you’ll make again and again. It’s a quick sew, and it’s very beginner friendly. With hacks aplenty — have you seen the blog?! — there’s no reason you can’t have a closet full of Adalynns.
I also love that it comes in baby (NB-24m) & girl (2T-16) sizes too: hello, darling Mommy & Me sets!! I was able to cut strategically and cut my daughter’s dress (12m) from the otherwise unusable areas of my fabric. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Loved testing this woman’s dress pattern. The pattern includes a formula for finding your absolute best fit. The dress was flattering even though I am only 3 months postpartum with baby number 4. ❤️
