The first pair came out pretty well but had too much room in the crotch. I solved this problem in the first pair, which was already sewn, by removing the elastic and cutting across the front (slightly curved) to be 1.5" lower at the very front. This worked well and I'm very pleased with the result. For my second pair I'm trying the alteration instructions for reducing the crotch length. Assuming that works well, I'm very happy to be able to make a bunch of comfy sleeping shorts since commercial jersey boxer shorts are hard to find these days (boxer briefs seem to be preferred).
Maybe the crotch issue is because I'm shorter, but I also suspect it's because I'm not a man and don't want lots of room in the crotch. I realize that the pattern is sort of targeted toward me, but it's clearly used a lot for women as well. I might be useful to note more prominently alterations that are useful for women (assuming others have the same experience).

These are perfect! My husband want this style of boxers and this pattern delivered. He wants to wear them every day! Now to make more. This pattern is super simple anD easy to follow. I think it took me less than an hour total to cut and sew once I had to correct size pattern assembled.

These are exactly what my husband buys! They are a quick sew and you can choose your length and waist style. The tutorial is wonderful as well. I am even making myself some!

Great boxers for hubby! Just make sure you measure the waist where the elastic is worn as opposed to the true waist. Thanks for the great pattern!

These lounge shorts are super comfortable and were really easy to make. The pattern has options for lower rise as well as shorter leg length. I'm planning to make more of these with this great pattern in the future.

This is a quick and easy sew. I have made three pairs already for my husband! He wears them as lounge shorts around the house. He said they are extremely comfortable and cool. I used cotton/lycra for all three pairs.

These are my Comfy Shorts! They are definitely great for everyone. I love these as around the house lounge or sleeps shorts, but I've also worn them out and about and received a ton of compliments.

Larger size patterns are scarce, this one is perfect fit for bigger sizes. I love that it is a truly unisex pattern.

This was a quick and easy sew that was satisfying for hubby so much that I even tried them on. If you are looking for a comfy pair of shorts/boxers to lounge around in these are for you. The directions were easy to follow and the pictures were helpful as well. There are different options to choose from to make them your very own. I see me making many more, but not just for hubby!

This was such an easy sew. I made a long version and a short version and both pairs are on high rotation at bedtime. DH has Acquired Brain Injury to his right side and he's so pleased he can get them on by himself.

This pattern is perfect if you have never sewn with knit. My hubby absolutely loves them and it’s such a quick sew! I also tried them on and work great as sleep shots for women too! This pattern is so versatile it’s definitely a wardrobe/pattern bank essential.

I loved making these! My husband isn’t a boxers guy, but he is living in these and has requested more :)
