I am very wary of buying curvy patterns for myself as they usually run too wide and have no shape. But this pattern really worked for me, especially the find your fit section of the pattern. After a few simple calculations I realised that I needed to make a 26w not the size 30w I was planning on and as you can see it fits really well. This pattern is a winner and will make a statement in any fabric xx

Genius, the Adalynn Dress has included in the pattern a Perfect Fit Worksheet. I have never seen anything like it before. The worksheet takes into account two issues and results in a perfect solution to the fitting struggle we all face. First it gives three options to achieve your personal desired fit; Classic, Semi-Fitted and Fitted styles. Secondly it takes into account the fabric stretch. We are often told to "size up" or "size down" depending on the stretch factor of our fabric. If your fabric is 120% stretch or 30% stretch does not matter, the worksheet will get you to your desired style and tell you how much to size up/down. Wowzers, no more guessing, I love it. Quick sew and stylish too, so many reasons to try the Adalynn Swing Dress for yourself.

Love this pattern. It is so versatile and you can choose if you want it more fitted or fuller. The instructions are amazing and the video links are so helpful. I can not say enough good things about this dress. The instructions are clear and well-written (watch that neckline binding video!!), the pattern was well drafted, and the fit was spot on. I am I love with this dress! It is roomy and comfy, but looks beautiful on! I almost feel like I am cheating at dressing up! I have only been sewing for a few months and this is a crazy easy sew! By the time I made my second dress from start to finish it took me only a little over an hour to complete including cutting fabric! This is one of those patterns you make multiples! I have 2 done and 3 more fabrics laid out to cut more already!!! You will love this one!!!

I absolutely love this dress (I already made 2 and that doesn't happen very often). You have a lot of options : with or without ruffled hem, pockets, different length of the sleeves. It has a loose fit, which I adore. But if you want it more fitted, it's all included in the instructions which are very well written. It's an easy quick sew. If you have made one, you definitely want more.

This was a super easy sew! I am short (5’0”), and I did not adjust for my height so if you were taller, you may need to add a little length. I did have to shorten the sleeves! I love that you can choose how fitted you want the dress to be - I am wearing semi-fitted in my photo! Easy sew, very comfortable! I also think it would look nice with a belt :)

You guys or should I say gals, this is probably the easiest dress you will ever sew for yourself! You got the front and back pieces the sleeves and the neck band THAT'S IT! Just 5 pieces to cut and sew and with in a few hours (if you are a slow sewer like I am) or less you have your self the most comfortable thing that will ever touch your body! I have made two of the Adalynn dress so far and plan to make more. I also bought both the baby (NB-24 M) and the girls (2T -16) sizes so I can make mommy and me dresses for my daughter. She is 15 months right now! I bought extra fabric so I could make her one when I made my first and then I loved it so much I had to make another one for myself. I will make hers eventually haha. Oh I almost forgot inside the tutorial there is the perfect fit guide which allows you to customize how your dress will fit biased on how much stretch the fabric you chose has. Its amazing! You can choose the classic swing fit, the simi fitted, or the fitted. So really it's like you are getting 3 patterns for the price of one. Buy this pattern you will not be disappointed!

Love this comfy dress. Being 5’8” I needed to lengthen, but even without adding a pair of shorts, Capri or long leggings and it’s perfect. Bonus I can make my daughter the same dress. So many sizes. Yet simple and comfortable. Huge win with this pattern all around.

Be sure to use the wonderful handy instructions to get your prefect fit. If you just print per your size it will be very loose, which it is meant to be. I prefer a more fitted top so used the handy measurements and it was just right! Such an easy and FAST sew. Sure to be a prefect pattern to add to any wardrobe.

If you were on the fence about getting this pattern, you came to the right review! I LOVE this whole line of dress patterns. I love that I can make one to fit me perfectly and then make one for my daughter and it fits her perfectly too! There will be a whole section in my closet for this Adalynn Dress! The fabric isn't coming fast enough for me to sew all the Adalynn's that I *need* :)
